The inaugural Office Professionals Breakfast was held in Brisbane on Friday, 1st May 2015 and was a tremendous success. Now in its third year, 2017 is a highly anticipated event amongst the business community. The event recognises and rewards the hard working Office Professionals of Brisbane. There really was no recognition for them - until now!
The Breakfast has previously featured guest speakers, Miguel Maestre and Chrissie Swan. Entertainers have included Casey Barnes and international superstar Dami Im. Award-winning journalist and presenter Madonna King, and former AFL great Richard Champion have hosted the event, along with TV presenter Ed Phillips.
"In our work at Great Expectation we know many dedicated office professionals who put in the hard yards, and we've always thought this should be recognised.
The Breakfast is a way for CEO’s and management to acknowledge the role office professionals do"
said event founder Marg Booth.
The Breakfast is proudly brought to you by Great Expectation Speakers and Trainers.
Zelda la Grange, Presidential Aide to Nelson MandelaZelda la Grange will share her experiences and lessons learnt from 19 years as Presidential Aide to Nelson Mandela. Her unique outlook on life, inspired by one of the greatest statesmen of our time, is a captivating story. Zelda will use anecdotes of her experiences to convey lessons related to discipline, leadership, respect, integrity, honesty and transparency. Born in apartheid South Africa, Zelda started her career in 1992. She was soon promoted to become one of the three Private Secretaries in President Mandela’s personal staff. In 1999, he requested that she remain in his services beyond retirement. Zelda served Mr Mandela for 19 years in different capacities until his death on 5 December 2013.
